“Our first PROUD in LA this year had a wait list of applications for buyer places as well as exhibitors following a sell-out event. We wanted to make it even more accessible for travel agents to attend next year and have increased the rebate offered as we accept all pre-qualified agents,” said Simon Mayle, Event Director, PROUD Experiences.

“We are thrilled to continue to partner with PROUD Experiences,” said Albert Herrera, Executive Vice President, Partner Relations, for Internova Travel Group, one of the world’s largest travel services companies and PROUD Experiences headline sponsor. “LGTBQ+ travelers are an important part of our business and events like PROUD Experiences are essential for our travel advisors to serve this community. They play a vital role in alerting us to trends, enriching our relationship with supplier partners and keeping us up to date on the most exciting experiences around the world.”

Key brands participating include Aman, Fasano, Gleneagles, Hotel Esencia, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Las Ventanas A Rosewood Resort, L´Oscar, One & Only Palmilla, Peninsula, Ritz-Carlton Hotels of Japan, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, The Dolder Grand, Ultima Collection and Tourism Boards such as Tourism Australia, Austrian Tourism Office and Los Cabos.

Karime Buraye, AMAN’s Head of Sales for The Americas commented: “Aman is delighted to again participate in PROUD Experiences, as a unique opportunity for us to delve into the dynamic LGBTQ+ travel segment, learning and implementing best practices to enhance our offerings.  Attending PROUD Experiences offers our teams a chance to strengthen relationships with our loyal travel trade customers and connect with high-caliber clients. PROUD Experiences allows us to reinforce our support and respect for our clients, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of LGBTQ+ travel experiences.”

The LGBTQ+ market is expected to reach $568.5 billion by 2030, according to Reports & Insights.   From boutique hotels to tourist boards, PROUD experiences welcomes a unique collection of exhibiting brands. The event is a mix of one-to-one prescheduled business appointments, a Masterclass series of debates and panels for all attendees as well as networking opportunities to continue the conversations. PROUD also hosts writers of travel experiences across both LGBTQ+ media as well as mainstream publications from across the world.
