As for summer 2000, Zakynthos and Corfu were seen as the most economical options while Crete is likely to fall in line with the Greek average. It appears that, in order for Greece to take advantage of the opportunities being made available, it must give greater emphasis to sales in northern England, family offers, packages to encourage pre-sales bookings and boosting its share of the winter tourism market.
