Hickory Global Partners selects duty of care provider e-Travel Technologies

Travelers to benefit from protection and peace of mind as companies respond to increased demand for Duty of Care.

DELRAY BEACH, FL – Hickory Global Partners, a travel management services company providing innovative service, distribution and technology to its network of travel agency and supplier partners, announced a new partnership agreement with e-Travel Technologies, Inc. (eTT), a leading provider of travel risk management, intelligence and reporting services, i.e. Duty of Care.

As a result of this agreement, and as is the case with most of HICKORY’s other focused and strategic alliances, Hickory is the first travel management services company to partner with eTT in this space.

“We are very pleased to collaborate with eTT to provide their suite of products and services to our travel agency partners,” said Chris Dane, President of Hickory Global Partners. “Our strategic alliance with eTT is a win-win scenario for all involved – our travel agency membership, eTT, and Hickory. We are excited to add a new valuable tool to our agency membership’s growing toolkit.”

eTT markets its products and services through the Travel Management Services (TMC) community and targets companies working in the global travel industry, making HICKORY a perfect choice.

Members of Hickory’s global network of travel agencies now have a suite of tools for helping their clients meet their Duty of Care responsibility and fulfill related liability protection in the event that, for whatever reason, a traveler encounters unforeseen circumstances. In addition to offering a highly visible, value added, and practical service, Hickory’s agency partners are also, ultimately, giving their clients a competitive advantage.

Travel Risk Intelligence Offering Travelers Peace of Mind
Recent events around the world point to increasing potential risk for business travelers and a growing list of events beyond their control that may impact their safety and convenience when on the road.

In response to an increasingly complex world, corporations are responding to increased demand for Duty of Care compliance and using new tools, products and solutions that can help to manage and minimize their risk while staying abreast of their employees’ whereabouts, destination and wellbeing.

Don Churchill, President of eTT, stated: “As Hickory has recognized the increasing demand for Duty of Care compliance in the corporate travel sector we are extremely pleased to have been selected as HICKORY’s travel risk management partner and look forward to contributing to their members’ impressive suite of corporate travel solutions.”

With its e-Travel Alerts, e-Travel Advisories and e-Travel Tracker, eTT is able to help Hickory’s agency network monitor events and threats, prepare travelers pre-trip, identify risks and advise travelers, and respond to or avoid events as they arise.

The agreement further demonstrates Hickory’s strategic drive to lead the travel industry to measurable results and greater profitability. In providing a continually growing platform of tools to its travel agency network – with eTT being the latest addition – Hickory is delivering on its mission to forge long and mutually beneficial relationships with its travel agency membership and supplier partners alike.
