Next Larger: Vueling attends to 1 million passengers in Domodedovo

Collaboration of Spain career and the largest Russian airport started in July 2009 with the route Barcelona (EL PRAT) – Moscow (Domodedovo).

Yesterday Vueling Airline has welcomed its one-millionth passenger at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Mr Andrey Smolenkov, a passenger of the flight VY7783 (Moscow (Domodedovo) – Barcelona) became a holder of ‘lucky number’.

To celebrate the milestone, the airline representatives greeted the winner at the check-in area decorated with balloons. A giant boarding pass and a flight voucher for two persons were presented to the passenger.

“We are delighted to celebrate in Moscow this milestone of our history. Vueling came to Russian market in 2009 with routes from Barcelona to Moscow (Domodedovo). Six years later, our route network increased to 12 destinations from seven airports in Russia. We are proud to offer an optimal quality-price ratio together with Moscow Domodedovo Airport, allowing our passengers to travel comfortably to Spain from the capital of Russia”, said Vueling’s representative Jesus Blanco, International Sales Manager.

Vueling is one of the European carriers recognized for its high rate of growth. Collaboration of Spain career and the largest Russian airport started in July 2009 with the route Barcelona (EL PRAT) – Moscow (Domodedovo). The result of this durable partnership is obvious: there are four routes from Domodedovo operating by Vueling – Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca.
