Campbell Lodging announces additions to national sales team

As demand across Campbell Travel’s corporate, leisure and workforce lodging divisions returns following the COVID-19 pandemic, Szafarski and Smith’s responsibilities include sales within all areas of the agency, with a significant focus on Campbell Lodging’s rapid expansion.

Campbell Lodging, a specialized travel solution for workforce lodging by Campbell Travel, the Dallas-based travel agency with more than 35 years of experience combining high-touch service with industry-leading technology, announced the staff additions of Mary K. Szafarski and Missy Smith as National Sales Managers.

Szafarski and Smith further position Campbell Travel to expand its workforce lodging division, which was renamed Campbell Lodging earlier this month.

Szafarski brings more than 25 years of experience to Campbell Lodging, beginning with managing corporate and executive sales for Ritz-Carlton and Renaissance Hotels before spending the bulk of her career with Accor Hotels and G6 Hospitality in the economy sector, where she was first introduced to workforce lodging customers. For more than 15 years, Szafarski was responsible for an $11 million sales portfolio and was one of the first recipients of the Accor/G6 Hospitality $5 Million Club Award. Recently, Szafarski spent more than three years with CLC Lodging, soliciting multimillion dollar companies with long-term and project lodging needs.

Smith joins Campbell Lodging with more than six years of experience selling to corporations with $5 million to $1 billion-plus annual revenues. A top-performing salesperson in the corporate and crew-based travel segment, Smith is a recipient of multiple awards recognizing her work, which includes an S&P 500 and Fortune 1000 company. Prior to her career in sales, Smith amassed an extensive background in advertising and executive marketing management in large markets across the country.

As demand across Campbell Travel’s corporate, leisure, and workforce lodging divisions returns following the COVID-19 pandemic, Szafarski and Smith’s responsibilities include sales within all areas of the agency, with a significant focus on Campbell Lodging’s rapid expansion.

I’m so excited to add Mary K. and Missy to the Campbell Lodging family as we continue to build upon the growth of the division we experienced during COVID-19,” Campbell Travel President Teri Goins said. “Their combined experience and expertise in sales and workforce lodging put them in a position to make an immediate impact on Campbell Lodging, and we’re thrilled about our future with Mary K. and Missy on our team.”

Campbell Lodging, formerly Innovative Lodging Concepts, uses the latest technology to provide companies with the ability to seamlessly book and pay for large crew travel and lodging. Companies can also negotiate low rates at preferred hotels and set controls on travelers to maximize savings across air, car, and lodging options — all with extensive reporting that helps companies set and reach financial benchmarks, monitor traveler compliance, and maintain Duty of Care.
