Aeroflot Group passenger traffic up 16.2% in November 2018

In November 2018, Aeroflot Group carried 4.3 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%.

11M 2018 Operating Highlights
In 11M 2018, Aeroflot Group carried 51.4 million passengers, up 10.8% year-on-year. Aeroflot airline carried 32.8 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 8.5%. Group and company RPKs increased by 9.6% and 6.5% year-on-year, respectively. ASKs rose by 9.5% year-on-year for the Group and by 8.0% year-on-year for the company. The passenger load factor remained flat year-on-year at 83.2% for Aeroflot Group and decreased by 1.2 p.p. to 81.0% for Aeroflot airline.

November 2018 Operating Highlights
In November 2018, Aeroflot Group carried 4.3 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%. Aeroflot airline carried 2.9 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%. Group and company RPKs were up 14.8% and 9.9% year-on-year, respectively. ASKs rose by 16.5% for Aeroflot Group and by 12.7% for Aeroflot airline.

Aeroflot Group’s passenger load factor was 78.4%, representing a 1.1 percentage point decrease versus the same period a year earlier. The passenger load factor at Aeroflot – Russian Airlines decreased by 2.0 percentage points year-on-year to 76.0%.

Fleet update
In November 2018, Aeroflot Group added three Boeing 737-800. One Airbus A321 was phased-out. As of 30 November 2018, the Group fleet had 366 aircraft. Aeroflot airline added two Boeing 737-800 aircraft as well as phased-out one Airbus A321 aircraft. As of 30 November 2018, the company fleet had 252 aircraft.
