Enterprise Rent-A-Car and the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies signed a national partnership agreement in which the two organizations will promote Enterprise Rent-A-Car services to association members across Canada.
Under the agreement, which runs from September 2006 to December 2007, Enterprise will support the association in its membership advocacy and promotional activities in Canada. In turn, ACTA, which represents the interests of 2,600 travel agencies and close to 19,000 retail travel professionals in Canada, will promote Enterprise Rent-A-Car to consumers and travel agents. Enterprise will work with ACTA to provide customized rental programs to travel professionals at select times during the duration of the agreement.
“As North America’s largest rental car company, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is an important stakeholder in the travel and tourism industry in Canada,” says David McCaig, vice president of corporate affairs at ACTA. “Enterprise is important to ACTA and we are pleased to be working with this organization to help promote its rental service to our members.”
