CEOs discuss consolidation’s impact on business travel industry at GBTA Convention 2016

The panel will feature Reggie Aggarwal, CEO and founder, Cvent; Christophe Alaux, CEO of Hotel Services-North America, Central America and Caribbean Region, AccorHotels; and, Dara Khosrowshahi, president and CEO, Expedia, Inc.

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) – the voice of the global business travel industry –  announced the speakers for The Impact of Consolidation panel at GBTA Convention 2016, July 16-20 in Denver, Colorado.

The panel will feature Reggie Aggarwal, CEO and founder, Cvent; Christophe Alaux, CEO of Hotel Services-North America, Central America and Caribbean Region, AccorHotels; and, Dara Khosrowshahi, president and CEO, Expedia, Inc. This panel discussion will be moderated by Guy Langford, vice chairman, U.S. leader of Travel, Hospitality and Leisure, Deloitte and Touche, LLP. The panel discussion will take place on Center Stage on Tuesday, July 19 at 8:30 a.m. MT.

“Consolidation is affecting nearly every segment of the business travel industry. This panel of distinguished CEOs have first-hand experience leading industry mergers and acquisitions, making them the best people in the business to talk about the current landscape and its impact on the future of the business travel industry,” said Michael W. McCormick, GBTA executive director and COO.

The Tuesday morning panel will discuss the unprecedented consolidation across the business travel industry and how it creates opportunities and challenges for travel buyers. Attendees will hear from these industry leaders on how best to adapt to this changing market place.
