CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Extended Stay America announces an exclusive partnership with the Youth Amateur Travel Sports Association (YATSA), the vastly growing international sports association promoting events for premier youth, high school, collegiate and amateur adult travel sports programs. Throughout the partnership, Extended Stay America will serve as the exclusive hotel partner of youth travel sports, welcoming travel teams, athletes and families to its 632 locations nationwide. No matter where the next game leads, Extended Stay America offers a friendly home away from home where players, coaches and families experience “a kitchen, a great price, a hotel that’s just right.”

“Working with the Youth Amateur Travel Sports Association brings ESA’s home-like offerings to life. We’re thrilled to welcome athletes and their families to our properties nationwide,” says Terry Atkins, senior director of marketing communications. “Specifically designed to provide all travelers with the key to a great stay, our accommodations provide today’s aspiring athletes and their biggest fans the perfect combination of home-like comfort with convenient amenities. Available in every hotel room, our fully-equipped kitchens enhance the guest experience, creating a true extension of home where athletes will find it easier to accommodate specific diets, exercise and training regimens, or unwind following a big game.”

“Our participants and their families dedicate extensive periods of time away from home traveling to compete,” said Rebecca Davis, executive director, Youth Amateur Travel Sports Association. “Extended Stay America’s practical and comfortable amenities, including spacious rooms, onsite laundry and fully-equipped kitchens, are perfectly suited for large groups, especially those with youth. With locations in 44 states, ESA is an ideal partner for YATSA.”

YATSA members will enjoy the many advantages of Extended Stay America at a favorable rate. Keeping convenience in mind, properties feature fully equipped kitchens in every guest room including a full size refrigerator, stovetop, cooking utensils, dishes, silverware and the “Away From Home Cooking” cookbook. Beyond guest rooms, common areas provide a place for athletes and families to relax together offering flat-screen TVs with premium channels, free Wi-Fi access to stay connected with loved ones while away from home, and a daily Grab and Go breakfast with quick and healthy choices to start the day.
