Industry Leader, Casey Hanisko joins Women Travel Leaders as a Senior Mastermind Facilitator
SEATTLE – Women Travel Leaders (WTL), is thoughtfully emerging as a global leader within the tourism industry, specifically dedicated to women professionals. The membership-based organization provides a safe harbour for female business owners and leaders in need of community, connection and growth in the ever-changing tourism industry.
WTL facilitates safe spaces for members to connect, learn and grow together. The association operates various programs and forums that include private coaching, facilitated Masterminds, peer-to-peer mentor circles, intimate business focused sessions and WTL expert-let calls around sales, marketing and technology. Engaged community members also gather in person at select industry events (and the soon-to-be-announced WTM annual leadership retreat.)
In response to WTL’s members’ needs and growing industry demands, the association is expanding its rich programming with the launch of a handful of Elite Masterminds designed to create a space for solving business challenges while also creating a community of sharing and accountability. Masterminds strategically place travel business owners together with other high performing owners with similar business goals.
The innovative program is spearheaded by esteemed tourism industry leader, Casey Hanisko, a Senior Mastermind facilitator, former President of the Adventure Travel Trade Association and certified Business Coach and trained in Dare to Lead and Leading People Program.

The exclusive 9-month Mastermind is tailored for high-performing women leaders and influential business owners with revenues over 1 million. The bar for participation is set high – candidates are closely vetted and must demonstrate a track record for success, solid industry and leadership experience, and willingness to engage and contribute within the trusted WTL community and fellow Elite Mastermind participants.

- Who can apply? The comprehensive program is tailored for accomplished women business owners – Mastermind groups participants will be matched, in groups with similar revenue ranges, team sizes, and challenges. Mastermind participants seek fresh perspectives, and new opportunities and want to explore solutions to overcome challenges within the ever-changing travel industry.
- What can participants anticipate in monthly sessions? In each session, 6-8 hand selected and vetted participants engage in facilitated group discussions revolving around pressing business challenges and opportunities. They brainstorm and explore effective strategic planning tools, harness marketing best practices and share invaluable industry resources. The Elite Mastermind serves as a catalyst to develop strong leadership skills and practices. The program enhances leaders’ capacity to collaborate with an active and caring WTL community of dynamic and purpose-driven women and Elite Mastermind fellows.
- What is the participation fee and what is included? The monthly meeting fee is $195 USD (based on a minimum 9-month commitment). Each meeting is 75 minutes. It also includes – facilitator’s summary meeting notes and actionable items, on-going support, goal setting and accountability via WhatsApp group with team members, in addition to a 50% saving for the Annual WTL Community Membership Fee for new members.
- When is the application deadline for the Elite Mastermind Group? The inaugural group has filled; a second group is now open and is scheduled to begin in November of 2023.
