Ten Emaar Hospitality Group hotels achieve ACTE-BCHA accreditation

ACTE-BCHA plans to accredit more than 10,000 hotels around the world by 2020. Facilities will pay an annual membership fee, and independent monitors will verify compliance.

ALEXANDRIA, VA – ACTE Global (Association of Corporate Travel Executives) announced that 10 Emaar Hospitality Group hotels have been certified by ACTE-BCHA’s global hotel accreditation program, the world’s only accreditation program tailored to business travellers’ needs and monitored by independent inspectors.

The Emaar Hospitality Group hotels are the first to have qualified for the certification, a joint venture between Business Conference Hotel Accreditation and ACTE, in Dubai. The program is designed to standardise lodging expectations worldwide so that corporate travel buyers can select the most appropriate business-quality accommodations for their internal clients.

To qualify for the ACTE-BCHA certification, hotels must have facilities essential to business travellers, including a secure environment, in-room safes, well-stocked business centers, conference centers, room service and a fitness center. Dubai-based DNATA inspected the properties.

“Congratulations to these Emaar hotels. They underwent a thorough inspection process and allowed us to look behind the scenes of every aspect of their operation. Certification is a major achievement for them, and it puts these hotels one step ahead of the competition with corporate travel managers. ACTE members are telling us that when they place someone in an ACTE-BCHA accredited hotel, they know their travellers will be their most productive,” said Vadim Zelenski, CEO of ACTE-BCHA. “Travel managers appreciate having better local options in this important destination.”

The 10 Emaar hotels are located across Dubai under the brands Address Hotels + Resorts, Vida Hotels and Resorts, and Rove Hotels. They range in size from 156 to 470 rooms and were built between 2000 and 2017. Nine of the 10 are business and conference hotels.

Olivier Harnisch, Chief Executive Officer of Emaar Hospitality Group, said: “The ACTE-BCHA accreditation, a regional first for our group, underlines the exemplary standards we set for our guests, especially business travellers. Located centrally in the city, all of our hotels focus on offering our guests exceptional value through amenities tailored to business travellers. With Dubai and the UAE emerging as a global business and leisure hub, the accreditation will drive stronger interest in our hotels from corporate guests worldwide.”

ACTE-BCHA plans to accredit more than 10,000 hotels around the world by 2020. Facilities will pay an annual membership fee, and independent monitors will verify compliance.
