Under President Kevin Murphy’s leadership, TAP continues to grow. Elections for the Board of Directors were held during their meeting, and Murphy was re-elected to the office of President for a second two-year term as was Director at Large David Burns.
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Travel Alliance Partners (TAP) recently finished their 2016 planning and 2015 review at their annual business meeting in Minneapolis, MN. Just prior to the business meetings, TAP held a marketplace for local travel professionals to learn more about business opportunities and unique tour options. The following two days of business meetings were filled with key decisions, product development, and brainstorming sessions that generated creative ideas that maintain their commitment to the North America travel & tour industry.

Elections for the Board of Directors were held during their meeting, and Murphy was re-elected to the office of President for a second two-year term as was Director at Large David Burns. TAP is pleased to announce the 2016 Board of Directors:

- Vice President Products & Special Events Jack Hintz of Fancy-Free Holidays (Naperville, Ill.)
- Vice President Legal & Membership Richard Durgan of Durgan Travel Service (Stoneham, Mass.)
- Vice President Marketing Rick Pharr of CTN Travels (Midland, N.C.)
- Director At Large David Burns of All American Tours (Ellington, Mo.)
- Director At Large Jim Warren of Anderson Vacations (Calgary, Alberta)
In addition to Murphy, the newly elected Board members are Secretary/Treasurer Richard Arnold, Vice President Jack Hintz, and Director Jim Warren. Arnold has served on the Board of Directors since 2011 in the capacity of Director At Large, and more recently Vice President of Products & Special Events, where he helped grow the corporate partnerships with hotels, travel insurance companies, and other key travel services. Warren and Hintz, though new to TAP’s Board, represent longtime TAP Partners and will bring new perspectives to TAP’s Leadership.

Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
