Timofey was born in the community of military intelligence and science specialists at the Nuclear Testing Site Semipalatinsk-21, also known as Moscow-400 or Polygon. Growing at the USSR’s most secretive military site, he was surrounded by elite military and was exposed to some of the worlds most fascinating and closely guarded developments. During his youth, Timofey has also spent a lot of time in deep Siberia with his hunter grandfather, who used to be a part of original Russian military special forces during WW2, performing operations in Japan. After completing his education in Russia, in 1996 he migrated to New York, where Timofey built his career as a Creative Director working with technological corporations. In 2010 he founded a niche extreme travel company, building a multi-day private sport and eco-expeditions. In 2018, together with a team of retired special forces operators, he co-founded the CVJTF Group. He currently resides in New York.
