Carlson, a global hospitality and travel company, announced the further expansion of the Park Inn by Radisson brand in North America with the opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Schaumburg, Ill.
“The opening of the first Park Inn by Radisson in Illinois represents the continued momentum of our Ambition 2015 growth strategy and is aligned with plans to grow Park Inn by Radisson as a winning midscale brand in North America,” said Steve Mogck, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Midscale Brands, Carlson Hotels, Americas.
The brand has grown to more than 118 hotels in operation globally with 61 hotels currently in development.
“We look forward to offering a bright, bold and fresh, uncomplicated, friendly and fun environment that provides both business and leisure travelers with the affordable hotel experience they desire,” said John Seo of Avenue Hotels Management, LLC, owning company of the Park Inn by Radisson Schaumburg, Ill.
The 200-room hotel features an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a business center and free Wi-Fi access. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in Ming’s Grill & Cuisine, the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel can accommodate events with three meeting rooms and one large ballroom with a 350-person capacity.
The hotel is located 12 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
