Fraport amps up the passenger experience at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

Fraport Cleveland in partnership with MERA Corporation is set to open 4 new hot restaurant brands in advance of the busy summer travel season.

CLEVELAND, OHIO – Fraport has partnered with MERA Corporation to curate and select brands based on their philosophy of “The Perfect Match”. MERA marries markets with the best brands that match the passenger profile that ultimately creates an unprecedented and beloved passenger experience. MERA turned up the heat with the official opening of 800o Woodfired Kitchen in Concourse A and Wow Bao in Concourse C. Cantina Taqueria & Tequila Bar will open soon in Concourse C along with Shake Shack in the Main Terminal Food Court.

800° Woodfired Kitchen is Anthony Carron’s chef-inspired and innovative take on the art of cooking with wood fire. The entire menu is woodfired to perfection, infusing each menu item with just the right amount of smokiness. It starts with the highest-quality ingredients, scratch dough, fresh produce and artisan-quality meats and cheeses, that creates an offering as authentic and delicious as it is remarkably diverse. The result is craveable and irresistibly delicious craft pizza, creative breakfast items, salads, bowls, veggies and more. Now, Cleveland passengers will have the opportunity to “Taste the Magic” of Woodfired – an experience that is unparalleled across the globe.

Chef Anthony Carron is a classically trained chef and is globally acclaimed for his well-honed talent and creativity. He formerly worked with world-renowned restaurateur Michael Mina. “Food is the essence of my integrity and creativity. Asian Street Food ready to WOW your taste buds! Wow Bao brings the famous street food experience to life with high quality and fresh ingredients geared to cater to the fast paced and time sensitive passenger experience. Menus include everything from a wonderful selection of Bao to Asian bowls, dumplings and potstickers. Now open in Concourse C.

Shake Shack started out as a hot dog cart inside New York’s Madison Square Park in 2001 and is now one of the fastest-growing food concepts in America. Since then, Shake Shack expanded its menu from New York–style hot dogs to one with hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and its namesake milkshakes. High quality, great menu and an amazing passenger experience. Opening Soon in the Main Terminal Food Court.

Cantina Taqueria & Tequila Bar delivers a south of the border experience like no other. A casual Mexican joint serving up tacos & burritos alongside margaritas & beers from the bar. Designed to feel like your favorite neighborhood haunt with an authentic menu that will make passengers feel like they’ve been transported to another place and time. Menu includes everything from freshly made chips and salsa to quesadillas, burgers and vegetarian tacos and burritos. Opening Soon in Concourse C.
