Menzies Aviation has extended operations in Western Australia by adding passenger and ramp services at Perth. The launch customer for the new service is Singapore-based airline Tiger Airways. The carrier will be initially operating 4 weekly A320 services with operations commencing on 23rd March.
The response to this new service has been overwhelming and Tiger has brought forward its expansion to daily A320 services commencing from 01st May. David Borthwick, General Manager for Menzies Aviation in Western Australia said: “Over the next few weeks we will be taking delivery of specialist handling equipment, sourced locally and overseas, to service the new contract.”
