Milan Bergamo Airport welcomes new Eurowings service and expanded summer network

This marks Eurowings’ second route to Milan Bergamo Airport, building on the success of its existing service from Dusseldorf, which will operate six times per week during the summer of 2024.

Milan Bergamo Airport announce that Eurowings will introduce a new service from Hannover commencing 6 May 2024. The flights are initially scheduled to operate twice per week, on Mondays and Fridays, and will increase to four-weekly from 4 September, with additional departures on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The new service provides convenient options for travellers seeking a connection between the north of Italy and Lower Saxony in Germany, with the schedule catering for both city-break and business travellers.

The service between Milan Bergamo Airport and Hannover, which is known for its diverse industries and world-renowned trade fairs, creates a valuable link for business professionals seeking to explore new opportunities and establish international collaborations. Similarly, German travellers will gain easier access to the Lombardy region, which is not only the economic powerhouse of Italy but also a global hub for finance, design, and manufacturing.

With the introduction of the Hannover service, Milan Bergamo Airport will now be connected to eight German destinations during the 2024 summer season. The comprehensive list includes Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Karlsruhe-Baden Baden, Niederhein-Weeze, and Frankfurt Hahn, offering passengers a wide range of choices for their travel needs.

Committed to providing enhanced connectivity between the two countries. Milan Bergamo Airport will offer up to 44-weekly departures to Germany in the summer of 2024.

The addition of the Hannover route further strengthens the partnership between Milan Bergamo Airport and Eurowings, offering passengers more choices and convenience in their travel plans, flights go on sale from Jan 23rd.

In addition to the exciting news from Eurowings, Milan Bergamo Airport is thrilled to share the recent announcement of three new Ryanair routes. Launching during the upcoming 2024 summer season, passengers can enjoy flights to Beni Melal (Morocco), Castellon (Spain), and Skiathos (Greece). These new additions complement the previously announced routes to Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Dubrovnik (Croatia), expanding the airport’s diverse range of destinations.
