New Alitalia flight from Birmingham to Milan

The business capital of Italy – not to forget fashion and shopping – will soon be available to Alitalia passengers based in the Midlands thanks to the airline`s new service from Birmingham to Milan….

The business capital of Italy – not to forget fashion and shopping – will soon be available to Alitalia passengers based in the Midlands thanks to the airline`s new service from Birmingham to Milan.



Starting from 1st November 2004, Alitalia will be serving Milan Malpensa daily from Birmingham International Airport. Onboard the MD80 aircraft, passengers will be able to take advantage of Alitalia`s high standards of comfort during the 2-hour flight service.



Flights will operate as follows: from Birmingham Terminal 2 (flight AZ265): depart at 09:55, arrive at 12:55; from Milan (flight AZ264): depart at 21:00, arrive at 22:05. (All times are local)



From Milan Malpensa, passengers will also be able to connect to several Italian cities and a wide range of destinations worldwide.

This new route will also open up the whole of Italy for Midlands-based passengers thanks to our extensive domestic network from Venice down to Sicily and Sardinia. Plus, don`t forget that we also offer excellent onward connections to a host of European destinations from Athens to Warsaw and worldwide as far as Japan.
