Planet Nine grows charter fleet with addition of Gulfstream G650ER

The agreement will see more than half of its fleet upgrade to the advanced connectivity solution over a three-year period.

LOS ANGELES  –  Planet 9, a luxury aircraft management and private charter company headquartered in Los Angeles, celebrates an exciting milestone for the five-year-old company with the addition of a Gulfstream G650ER, the second G650 included in Planet 9’s fleet. The new managed aircraft contributes to the rapid expansion of the growing company, reaffirming the growing demand for private aviation.

The ultra-long range Gulfstream G650ER aircraft is designed to fly up to 16 hours at a time, making it the perfect solution for inter-continental journeys. With an elegant, large cabin interior, this aircraft is capable of comfortably seating up to 15 passengers with bedding arrangement for 7.The aircraft will be accompanied by two pilots and one in-flight representative who has been trained through the Culinary Institute of America to provide world class service, inclusive of gourmet inflight meals and catering to guests in air needs.

Additionally, Planet 9 recently selected Satcom Direct, the business aviation solutions provider, to be its preferred connectivity supplier as it becomes the first charter and aircraft management company to acquire multiple SD Plane Simple® Ku-band terminals.
