The operation will be focused on providing a quick, convenient and competitively priced currency exchange service to further enhance the passenger experience at Copenhagen Airport.

Prosegur Cash SA, a leading cash service business and parent company to foreign currency and financial services provider, ChangeGroup, has secured a deal to offer a range of currency exchange services at Copenhagen Airport.

The deal will see the company open five branches at the airport under the name Prosegur Change, the new brand being rolled out across the world following the acquisition of ChangeGroup by Prosegur Cash. This will be Prosegur Change’s first entry into the Nordics, and the company has ambitions to expand further into the region.

The new branches will provide travellers with a range of premium services, including fast travel cash in all major currencies and VAT refunds.

As ever, the friendly, knowledgeable and skilled sales consultants that Prosegur Change prides itself on will be offering the highest level of customer service and assisting travellers with any enquiries.

Sacha Zackariya, CEO of Prosegur Change, said: “Copenhagen Airport is the largest airport in the Nordic region and is among the 20 busiest airports in Europe. We are very much looking forward to working with such a professional and respected landlord.

“Our competitive commercial proposition was instrumental in securing this deal. Price transparency is very important, and the team at Copenhagen Airport understand this well. The ability to provide a product at a price that is attractive to consumers while running a commercially viable operation is a delicate one, and we have been able to introduce a business model that will maintain long-term revenue streams into the next decade and beyond.”

Peter Krogsgaard, CCO of Copenhagen Airport, said: “We are happy to welcome Prosegur Change and look forward to the co-operation in offering travellers the best possible services.”
