TAAG`s Boeing crashes in Congo

Six people were killed in the Luanda/M`banza, Congo/Negage/Luanda flight when the 737 Boeing aircraft of the Angolan Airlines TAAG

Six people were killed in the Luanda/M`banza, Congo/Negage/Luanda flight when the 737 Boeing aircraft of the Angolan Airlines TAAG crashed in M’banza Congo city north of Zaire province and many more injured as Angola press reported. The number of the injured people has not been confirmed yet.



78 passengers were on board when the plane crashed into a house on Thursday afternoon (28th June 2007) after the pilot`s efforts to attempt emergency landing. The pilot lose control of the plane when he tried to land it resulting the plane to crash into a nearby house.



The injured people are in bad condition and are receiving medical treatement at Zaire`s Provincial Hospital.



Authorities are investigating the causes of the accident.
