TWA to build new terminal at JFK

The TWA<.> terminal at New York city`s JFK Airport is currently out of operation because that it is scheduled for demolition to make way for a larger facility. The swooping landmark terminal was designed in the early 1960s by the architect Eero Saarinen.



The Sourcebook of Contemporary North American Architecture once called the TWA terminal one of the world`s most dramatic airline terminals… Its curving contours uncannily suggest a bird in flight.
