Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing
Before setting off on the trek, we had a day to explore Kathmandu’s cultural riches. The next morning, we boarded a small aircraft for the thrilling flight to Lukla, one of the world’s most dangerous airports. Upon landing safely, we began our trek to Phakding, where we spent our first night in a cozy tea house.
Day 4-8: Trekking through the Khumbu region
The real adventure began as we trekked deeper into the Khumbu region. Each day brought new challenges and rewards. We crossed suspension bridges that swayed high above rushing rivers, passed through lush rhododendron forests, and visited remote Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar and Tengboche. Acclimatization and exploration
Acclimatization was crucial for a successful trek to Everest Base Camp. We spent total 4 nights in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche, gradually gaining altitude while allowing our bodies to adapt to the thinning air. During this time, we explored the surrounding areas, hiked to viewpoints for stunning vistas of Ama Dablam and Lhotse, and learned about the local culture from our guides.
Day 10: Journey to Everest Base Camp
As we ventured closer to our ultimate destination, the excitement in our group grew palpable. Reaching Everest Base Camp was a dream comes true. The final push was challenging, with the altitude making every step a bit more laborious, but the encouragement and guidance from Glorious Himalaya’s experienced guides helped us persevere. Day 11-15: Descent and Farewell

We retraced our steps, revisiting the picturesque villages and landscapes that had enchanted us on our way up.
