EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is organising in collaboration with the Greek EU-Presidency, a High Level Think Tank Summit, entitled: “Towards Ubiquitous Digital Content – Building the foundation for digital content business in the enlarged European multicultural society”.
The event will take place the 13th of June 2003, at the Athens Hilton Hotel, and is organised in the context of the European Commission’s eContent programme.
The following topics on digital content will be addressed during the summit:
- The role of political world in building a multicultural EU society based on digital content.
- The role of Media and Press in the creation and promotion of digital content.
- The vision of Telecom companies and the future of mobile media for the dissemination of digital content.
- Presentation of future digital content services, demonstrating the potential of the digital content market.
- Presentation of innovative eContent projects.
Participants will include Telecom and HighTech companies such as BELGACOM, HEWLETT PACKARD, TELECOM ITALIA, YAHOO, Senior Executives from major European Media and Press groups (Le Monde, El Pais, Herald Tribune, etc.), members of the European Parliament, European Commission officials, etc.
In the concluding session of the event, a roadmap will be created outlining the future trends and developments in the domain of digital content, within an extended and multicultural Europe.
