FITUR Talent 2024 to examine the relationship between tourism, talent and AI – FITUR LGBT+ section celebrates diversity

Organised in conjuntion with EDUCATION 3.0, on Thursday 25 January in Hall 10, experts will be analysing how talent is adapting and evolving in the technological era.

MADRID – FITUR Talent, organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with EDUCACIÓN 3.0, is hosting a new edition at the International Tourism Trade Fair. This year it is being held on Thursday 25 January in Hall 10 with a full programme featuring some of the industry’s authoritative voices, who will be offering an in-depth and detailed view of the tourism industry with a focus on people, talent, education and professional training and the impact of new technologies.

Under the title “The human factor in the tourism industry: talent in times of Artificial Intelligence”, FITUR Talent has the Premium Sponsorship of ManpowerGroup Spain, ZITHS (Zambia Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Studies) and the ESIC Business & Marketing School and Basic Sponsorship from the University of the Balearic IslandsHTL International School of Hospitality, Tourism & Languages, GEHOCAN, HBX Group andASETUR and will culminate its day of reflection on how talent is adapting and evolving in the technological era with a drinks reception.

FITUR LGBT+ 2024 to highlight the importance of inclusion and diversity in tourism

The FITUR LGBT+ section returns to the International Tourism Trade Fair to show the world the wealth and variety of Spain’s inclusive and sustainable tourist destinations. From 24 to 28 January, this space located in Hall 9 of IFEMA MADRID will be celebrating diversity and showcasing new ways to promote tourism offers that emphasise inclusivity and sustainability.

Under the slogan “Conectando con la Diversidad” (Connecting with Diversity), FITUR LGTB+, will be inaugurated on Wednesday 24th at 4.30pm with the presence of representatives from national and local institutions. After that, a wide-ranging activity and conference programme will commence, including the official presentation of the Spanish Network of Destinations for Diversity, where project participants will be explaining the importance of the tourism offer made by destinations for travellers of all identities. Attendees will be able to discover everything from dream-like coastlines to cities steeped in history through the exhibitors, who will be sharing their latest innovations and once again demonstrating their commitment to inclusivity and creativity.

FITUR LGTB+

Over the course of the professional visitor days (Wednesday 24 to Friday 26), the section will be offering different presentations and forums where experts will share their knowledge alongside IBERIA, the main sponsor of this specialised area.  At the weekend, the general public will be able to enjoy the more fun, lively and varied side of FITUR LGTB+ with vibrant shows and a variety of activities they can participate in.

Contents of FITUR LIGTB +2024:

National destinations: The section will present the latest updates from destinations such as Castile-La Mancha, Zaragoza, Madrid and Extremadura and sun and sand destinations like Torremolinos, Gran Canaria and Valencia, among many others.

Sustainability and tourism: Technoblox will be demonstrating the memorable experiences that can be enjoyed in its groundbreaking luxury eco-lodges designed at the intersection of comfort and sustainability.

  •  A range of specialised events focused on diversity and tourism: festivals in the LGBT+ segment, the senior segment, family and trans. The presentation of Gandía as the host city for the Mr. Gay Comunitat Valenciana 2024 Gala will be a highlight.
  • Weekend activities: you can enjoy musical performances by Libertad Montero, Cristal Forever, the legendary Black & White and Atreve el Musical, and even a Chueca Diversa fashion show by designer Jose Perea.
