Acentic, a leading supplier of digital interactive TV (iTV) systems over coaxial and IP networks for the hotel industry and Sky Deutschland, announced today their partner agreement to provide the hotel industry with a fully integratediTV system, state-of-the-art technology and premium TV channels. The aim of this partnership is to upgrade existing hotels currently equipped with Acentic’s analogue systems in Germany and Austria.
The hotels will be able to choose from three- or six-channel TV packages which provide a broad selection of Sky’s most popular channels. Channel packages include Sky Cinema, Sky Sport 1, Sky Sport 2, FOX, and The Discovery Channel among others.

Acentic and Sky will offer hotels a full upgrade package, including latest LCD screens, Sky channel packages, lobby Wi-Fi, head-end installation and attractive financing models. Hotels will receive a discounted introductory offer depending on length of contract, with additional benefits available for longer contracts.
