ALHI expands Washington, D.C. Global Sales team with the addition of Aretha Kelly as Director of Sales

In her new position, Aretha Kelly is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of ALHI’s member hotels and resorts.

WASHINGTON, DC – Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has expanded its Global Sales team in Washington, D.C. with the addition of Aretha Kelly as Director of Sales. In her new position, she is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of ALHI’s member hotels and resorts. ALHI, the world’s leading independent Global Sales Organization serving the Meetings & Incentive marketplace, features a distinguished portfolio of more than 250 luxury and upper-upscale hotels and resorts around the world, which are either independent or are with an independent hotel brand. The announcement of Kelly’s appointment was made by ALHI’s Chief Sales Officer Mark Sergot.

Prior to joining ALHI, Kelly was Business Development Consultant for CaseWorthy, Inc. Her extensive experience includes serving as Sourcing Sales Executive/Meetings Expert for American Express Meetings and Events; Global Account Executive for ConferenceDirect; Citywide Sales Manager for the DC Region for VISIT Denver, The Convention and Visitors Bureau; and Area Associate Director of Sales for several Kimpton Hotels in Washington, D.C. She is an active member of the Potomac Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Capitol Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism Management from University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
