ALHI names Jennifer Erney Regional Vice President for U.S. Mid-Atlantic team

Jennifer Erney now oversees ALHI’s Global Sales teams in Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia, which assist meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives in the region who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of ALHI’s member hotels and resorts.

WASHINGTON, DC – Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has promoted Jennifer Erney to Regional Vice President to lead its U.S. Mid-Atlantic team. Based in ALHI’s Global Sales office in Washington, D.C., Erney now oversees ALHI’s Global Sales teams in Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia, which assist meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives in the region who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of ALHI’s member hotels and resorts. ALHI Global Luxury Sales’ distinguished portfolio features more than 250 luxury and upper-upscale hotels and resorts around the world, which are either independent or are with an independent hotel brand, and which specialize in serving meetings and incentive programs. The announcement was made by Mark Sergot, Chief Sales Officer for ALHI, which is the world’s leading independent Global Sales Organization serving the Meetings & Incentive marketplace.

Prior to her promotion, Erney served as ALHI’s Vice President of Sales for the Mid-Atlantic region. A highly accomplished hospitality industry sales executive, she was named the “2017 Supplier of the Year” by the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) at its 2017 PCMA Education Foundation Visionary Awards in May 2017. The “2017 Professional Excellence Awards” winners were selected from PCMA’s membership, which is made up of nearly 7,000 members, and Erney was one of only seven individuals honored with an award at the event.

Prior to joining ALHI in May 2017, Erney was the Director of Global Accounts – Meetings & Events for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI Hotels & Resorts), which is now part of AccorHotels. In that position, which she held for 10 years, she was the Washington, D.C.-based liaison to the association community for the Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel brands. Her extensive experience also includes serving as the Regional Director of National Accounts for Tourism Toronto; Area Director of Sales for Kimpton Hotels in the Washington, D.C. metro area; and Director of Group Sales for Loews Hotels. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Association Sales Executive (CASE) by PCMA, and a Certified Hospitality Sales Executive (CHSE) by Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Sales & Meeting Management from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island.
