Designed by DC-based hospitality experts //3877, the custom decor pulls inspiration from the hotel’s surroundings, overlooking the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean, incorporating bright colors, natural materials and nautical artwork into the contemporary design.

Light blue hues and beach-front views work together to create the refreshed atmosphere that is the recently renovated Courtyard by Marriott – Virginia Beach oceanfront North. Designed by DC-based hospitality experts //3877, the custom decor pulls inspiration from the hotel’s surroundings, overlooking the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean, incorporating bright colors, natural materials and nautical artwork into the contemporary design.

A reflection of //3877’s ability to generate designs that celebrate the areas in which they are applied, the firm’s principals David Shove-Brown and David Tracz infused enchanting organic details and eye-catching materials to deliver a design that embraces the character of Virginia Beach with the core elements of the Courtyard brand.

Renovation Specific Features:

  • Abstract murals painted on driftwood featured in the guest rooms
  • Fishnet chandeliers in the bistro
  • Nautical color scheme found throughout featuring turquoise and ocean blues
  • Metallic Mirrors and Decorative planters added to the reception area
  • Gray Wood Ship Lap paired with dark wood laminates and light tiling for an improved reception desk
  • Blue hues, wave-like carpet tiling in conference room with coordinating chairs
