BÉIS lands in Canada with first Canadian pop-up in Fairmont Pacific Rim

The beloved travel accessories brand comes as a continuation of the hotels collection of unique rotating retail boutiques.

VANCOUVER, BC – Fairmont Pacific Rim welcome Shay Mitchell’s travel accessories and lifestyle brand, BÉIS, for an interactive pop-up experience, starting August 7 through September 4 as part of the hotel’s uniquely diversified rotating retail program.

BÉIS Founder, actress and entrepreneur, Shay Mitchell is bringing her brand to her home country on a long-term basis starting in September and celebrating the presence with the opening of The BÉIS Pop-Up at Fairmont Pacific Rim. BÉIS, known for its collection of high-quality luggage, totes and travel accessories, will showcase a range of products in a real-life plane scenario, giving visitors the opportunity to ‘board’ and witness how the brand’s cult fan-favourites conveniently fit into overhead bins, along with custom-made plane seats that provide the perfect selfie backdrop in the window seat.

Guests can also enjoy customized BÉIS-inspired cocktails and bites in The Lobby Lounge & RawBar; menu highlights will include ‘Spritzing to the Gate’ vodka-based sparkling cocktail, Pacific Ahi Tuna Poke and a Spiced Chicken Sandwich.

Throughout the month-long pop-up, the brand will host two events at Fairmont Pacific Rim on the patio; the first being a Plaza Day Party on Saturday, August 12 from 1:00 p.m., where the public can enjoy food, drinks, music by DJ Marvel, personalization, and more. On August 26, House-iD will co-host an intimate workout class.

This marks the first time that BÉIS will activate within Canada, coming off the success of the brand’s first pop-up, The BÉIS Motel in Los Angeles in 2022 and The BÉIS Hotel in 2023. The pop-up at Fairmont Pacific Rim will be the brand’s only Canadian stop on their tour, ending in Dallas.

As a trailblazer in the direct-to-consumer space, BÉIS is taking a bold step forward by offering its customers captivating, immersive, and unforgettable experiences that transcend traditional retail spaces, complementing Fairmont Pacific Rim’s vibrant community of partners, past and present. Following the Pop-Up experience, BÉIS will launch in September at Indigo stores across Canada, becoming the exclusive retail partner for the brand within the Canadian market.

The BÉIS Pop-Up will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
