Caesars Entertainment appoints Monica Digilio Chief Human Resources Officer

Monica Digilio joins Caesars from Montage Hotels and Resorts where she has served in the same capacity since 2012.

LAS VEGAS – Caesars Entertainment Corporation announced the appointment of Monica S. Digilio as Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Digilio joins Caesars from Montage Hotels and Resorts where she has served in the same capacity since 2012. Her appointment at Caesars is effective immediately and is subject to normal regulatory approvals.

"Monica has outstanding global Human Resources leadership experience in the hospitality industry," said Mark Frissora, President and CEO of Caesars Entertainment. "Caesars is expanding its global footprint to include both gaming and non-gaming hotels and resorts, as well as gaming acquisitions. Monica will help us recruit, engage and develop U.S. and international work forces while ensuring our talent strategies are fully aligned with Caesars overall business objectives," he added.

In addition to her leadership role at Montage, Ms. Digilio spent 12 years as Executive Vice President for Global Human Resources for Kerzner International, a leading international developer and operator of destination resorts, casinos and luxury hotels. Prior to that, she served for ten years at ITT Sheraton Corporation where she held several roles, including Vice President, Human Resources, North America and Franchise Divisions.

Ms. Digilio holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Communications and Corporate Communications/Organizational Development, respectively, from Ithaca College. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Cornell University's Leland and Mary M. Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship and is also on the Professional Advisory Board for the Ithaca College Park School of Communications.
