Choice Hotels expands presence in Belgium

Through Choice Hotels’ development model, the company is uniquely positioned to experience significant growth across Europe.

Choice Hotels International, Inc., one of the world’s leading hotel companies, announced the signing of a new franchise agreement with Dema Hotels and Oxford Hospitality. The ten year partnership will begin with adding three new hotels over the next twelve months, providing a local growth platform through which to rapidly scale Choice’s presence in the market. The newly converted properties will become part of the Comfort, Quality and Clarion brands.

The three hotels are all located in Antwerp, Belgium, a dynamic city with architectural treasures. Guests at these hotels will have access to the famous shopping areas and diamond district, opera and museums.

“With numerous properties already in the area, this agreement is a testament to Choice’s growing momentum in Europe,” said Mark Pearce, Senior Vice President, International Division, for Choice Hotels. “We’re thrilled that Dema Hotels and Oxford Hospitality have come on board with the Choice family, and their commitment to this partnership proves that it’s an exciting time to be a part of Choice Hotels in Europe.”

Through Choice Hotels’ development model, the company is uniquely positioned to experience significant growth across Europe. Affiliating with Choice Hotels allows international operators to focus on the day-to-day challenges of running a hotel while capitalizing on the many benefits afforded by a recognizable brand and robust distribution platform.
