Waimea Plantation Cottages officially joins the "refreshingly local" brand.
SEATTLE – The hospitality brand known for its diverse portfolio of refreshingly local properties announced that Waimea Plantation Cottages, a Coast Resort, has officially joined its growing Pacific Coast Collection. Coast Hotels has managed the resort since July 2014. This lush new addition provides a leisurely getaway for independent travelers and small groups looking to experience Hawaiian beauty in a relaxed and local way.
“Our collection of hotels continues to delight travelers with our signature refreshingly local approach,” said Doug Rigoni, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Coast Hotels. “We are thrilled to offer a Hawaiian destination to our Coast Rewards members and guests looking to experience the serene and relaxing way of life on Kauai.”
Waimea Plantation Cottages embody Hawaiian life in the turn of the century, creating a quiet hospitality experience against the backdrop of contemporary Hawaii. Located on the sunny Western Coast of Kauai, close to Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast, Waimea Plantation Cottages features a nostalgic glimpse into life on a formerly active sugar plantation with breathtaking black sand oceanfront views. Nestled on a 27-acre plantation site, the 61-cottage resort has been restored with period-inspired furniture and modern appliances. Every cottage has a full kitchen and front porch. Additionally, the ocean-front Managers House makes an ideal venue for weddings, family reunions and corporate events.
“Coast Hotels has proven its expertise, brand value and guest services focus,” said Gregg Enright, general manager of Waimea Plantation Cottages. “We aim to leverage the approachability of Coast Hotels with our tranquil and unique setting to provide a memorable stay for our guests.”
Guests of Waimea Plantation Cottages will now receive access to Coast Rewards with the ability to accumulate points during their stay, as well as redeem points for upgrades, complimentary stays, entertainment options, gift cards, airline mileage and more.
