Corinthia Hotels International (CHI) announced that its five-star Corinthia Hotel Budapest (Grand Hotel Royal) has been voted as the top luxury hotel in Budapest from 257 hotels surveyed – among the top six luxury hotels in Europe – and among the top ten luxury hotels in the world, by the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice™ awards 2008.
The ‘Best Luxury World’ and ‘Best Luxury Europe’ awards were determined by a combination of TripAdvisor’s Popularity Index and traveller ratings of specific attributes. TripAdvisor’s Popularity Index is a system that determines traveller satisfaction based on a variety of sources, including TripAdvisor hotel reviews and travel articles and opinions found throughout the web. The Travelers’ Choice awards, the only honours representing the unbiased opinions of millions of travellers, are among the most coveted awards in the hotel industry.
