Ensenada’s hotel coral and marina unveils c spa, incorporating baja vinotherapy

Luxury hotel triples the size of existing spa, enhances treatment offerings, for a rejuvenating reprieve in Mexico.

ENSENADA, MEXICO – Hotel Coral and Marina, Ensenada’s premier resort and marina, announces the reopening of the renovated C Spa, its full-service spa, now featuring local vinotherapy and other unique treatments. The renovations, which triple the size of the existing spa, add a new level of luxury to Hotel Coral’s spa offerings, creating a serene escape for hotel guests looking to relax and be pampered.

Located on the lower level next to the hotel’s gourmet restaurant Bistro & Cava, C Spa offers guests a tranquil place to unwind with a range of professional services – from Swedish massages and facials, to seaweed treatments and haircuts. The hotel is also the exclusive Baja provider of Natura Bisse, known for its innovative Diamond Collection regenerative skin creams, and feature other top beauty brands including OPI, Janssen Cosmetics and Paul Mitchell. C Spa’s signature treatments include Natura Bisse’s Diamond Facial, Lava Bambu treatments, reflexology and hot stone therapy.

The expansion adds six new treatment rooms, a new boutique with handmade jewelry made exclusively by designer and Ensenada native Jordana Tello, and completely redesigned interiors. Fiber-optic star lighting in the massage rooms creates a celestial environment, while a rooftop garden viewable from the treatments rooms brings guests further into Baja’s natural, relaxing setting.

“The renovation and expansion of C Spa gives us an opportunity to enhance our products and services, creating a spa experience unlike any that our guests have had before,” said Hotel Coral and Marina’s Director of Sales and Public Relations, Lizette Sanchez. “Spa visitors have a lush place to unwind with a distinct Ensenada flare as they enjoy treatments by our highly skilled staff with some of the finest skin and beauty products in the world. We’re particularly excited to introduce our guests to services that integrate products unique to Baja, celebrating our life and roots in this charming region.”

The C Spa experience begins in the relaxation area, where guests can begin to unwind before their appointments in lounge chairs while enjoying calming music, fruit-infused water and light hors d’oeuvres. Once treatment begins, guests can choose from a variety of services, including massage, facials and beauty treatments. Lava Bambu is one of C Spa’s signature treatments where therapists deliver heat using a porcelain tool called a Zen Stick, designed like the bamboo stalks that are native to South China. Lava Bambu therapists use Lava Gel, which harnesses the natural ocean power and synergy of minerals, black lava, dried sea kelp and algae, to create natural heat for calming deep tissue massages.

Celebrating one of Baja California’s biggest attractions, its wine country, C Spa offers Viniphera body products. Viniphera is hand-made by Alejandra Correa of Quinta Monasterio in Valle de Guadalupe, one of the region’s premier wineries, using by-products of the winemaking process. These unique products include a variety of exfoliants, lotions and scrubs – all made from natural materials like grape leaves, stems, skin and seeds. Vinotherapy is said to stimulate collagen synthesis, support capillary health and stimulate new cell growth.

Baja’s Wine Country, heavily concentrated near Ensenada in Valle de Guadalupe, is home to more than 70 wineries and highly regarded by oenophiles worldwide. The hotel also integrates the region’s viticulture into its culinary programming, boasting the state’s largest wine cellar with more than 150 local labels.
