First Hospitality adds Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana, Il, to groing portfolio

Featuring 145 guest rooms, the Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana is located in downtown Champaign just minutes from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

CHICAGO – First Hospitality, a national hotel operating and development company, assumed management and operations of the Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana in Champaign, IL. First Hospitality will also manage Punch!, a bar and lounge located at the Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana.

Featuring 145 guest rooms, the Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana is located in downtown Champaign just minutes from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Within a two-block radius, guests will find a dining scene with more than 36 restaurants offering twists on worldly cuisine. The pet-friendly hotel features complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, in-door pool (opening March 31), fitness center, meeting and event space, dining, lobby bar and 24/7 espresso bar.

Located at the Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana, Punch! is a cocktail bar serving classic and craft cocktails best known for its Old Fashioned, made with a proprietary blend of six different types of whiskey. The popular lounge has a menu of light, shareable dishes including a Charcuterie Board and Jerk Chicken Skewers, served with house made dirty rice and cilantro-lime sauce. A new seasonal menu featuring ten innovative and Instagram-able cocktails will debut on March 20.
