Jason Kreul brings nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including key leadership positions in operations plus expansive expertise in full-service, lifestyle and independent properties.
CHICAGO, IL – First Hospitality, a national hotel operating, management, and development company, announces the appointment of Jason Kreul as chief operating officer.
Kreul will report to David Duncan, President & CEO, and will lead the operations, commercial strategy, and the people & talent groups at First Hospitality and play a pivotal role in further expanding their hotel portfolio.

His experience and approach will continue to emphasize a thriving and collaborative workplace culture while delivering superior results.”
Prior to joining First Hospitality, Kreul served in numerous executive roles at Highgate, most recently as president – central US and west coast divisions. Before that, Jason held leadership roles at White Lodging Services and Winegardner & Hammons. Kreul serves on various advisory and board roles at the major hotel brands and industry organizations.

Kreul graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management Business. He lives in Valparaiso, Indiana, with his wife Amy, and five kids. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, working on DIY projects, and participating in health and wellness activities.
