Great Hotels of the World welcomes new members to its alliance

Great Hotels of the World enriches its collection with hotels in the South Europe. The total number of the members exceeds the two hundred and fifty hotels

Great Hotels of the World announced a variety of new properties from around the world to its collection. The hotel chain Great Hotels of the World provides global hotel reservation, sales and marketing services for an exclusive portfolio of primarily independent hotels and resorts worldwide, counting more than 250 hotels worldwide.

The new members are the following:

La Finca Golf & Spa Resort, Alicante, Spain

Just over 30 minutes’ drive from Alicante airport, La Finca Golf & Spa Resort is a luxury property on the Torrevieja coast in Alicante. Its 117 modern and spacious rooms and the three suites come complete with private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel is renowned for its three golf courses as the property is among the five best golfing resorts in Spain. The golfing area includes a driving range, two putting greens and a chipping area, and also has club, trolley and buggy rental. The hotel features excellent business and event facilities, suitable for corporate events, private events and weddings with open-air and indoor spaces.

Guests have a choice of cuisine during their stay with a buffet restaurant, offering fresh and local produce and La Finca Restaurant, known for its Spanish flavours. La Finca also boasts a bar with a terrace overlooking the gardens, golf course and swimming pool. Other facilities include a spa, which offers a variety of wellness treatments, as well as a sauna, jacuzzi, indoor pool, gym and tennis court.

Borovets Euphoria Club Hotel & Spa, Samokov, Bulgaria

Situated in the Borovets region on the Rila Mountain, Borovets Euphoria Club Hotel & Spa is just 800 metres from the ski resort of Borovets and 8km from the town of Samokov. The hotel features 110 luxurious rooms, apartments and villas. The apartments and villas are equipped with kitchen areas. As well as skiing, Borovets offers numerous activities for its guests such as horse riding, cycling, hiking, fishing and various water sports at the nearby Lake Iskar.

In addition, the hotel features an outdoor gym, a stylish spa centre with sauna, jacuzzi and indoor heated pool. The massage rooms offer a variety of treatments, such as Olive Tree rejuvenating facials or detoxifying mud wraps, as the hotel is known as one of the finest wellness resorts in Bulgaria. Guests can also take advantage of Borovets Euphoria Club Hotel restaurant, which will impress with its innovative creations and extensive wine cellar. The hotel’s wine selection can also be enjoyed at the indoor and outdoor bar. The property’s restaurant and bar can also be used for events for up to 200 guests. Taskonaklar Rocky Palace, Nevsehir, Turkey

This luxury boutique hotel blends in perfectly with the surrounding area, featuring volcanic formations and cave dwellings. Despite its rural location, Taskonaklar Rocky Palace is located only 6km from Nevşehir and Goreme and 35 minutes drive from Nevşehir Airport. The Cappadocia region and Uçhisar village, together with the carefully selected interior of this stunning hotel, represent the fascinating history of this area, basking in a unique atmosphere. The property features 19 individually decorated rooms, combining subterranean spaces, rough-hewn walls and stone archways. Guests can experience stunning views of Cappadocia’s famous rock “chimneys” from each of the bedroom’s open space balconies or terraces.
 
Next to the authentic setting and location of Taskonaklar Rocky Palace, each dish served in the hotel’s restaurant is home cooked, using local produce and respecting traditional cooking methods and recipes. The chef will follow guests’ requests for specific dishes and diets. The hotel can also prepare a picnic for guests to be enjoyed on one of the trekking trips or horseback rides through the valley. Hotel Monte Prado, Melgaço, Portugal

Hotel Punta Vodice, Vodice, Croatia

Hotel Punta Vodice is perfectly situated just a few metres from the centre of the well-known tourist destination of Vodice. It lies only 45 minutes from Zadar airport and has excellent transport connections. The 312 rooms are all beautifully decorated and feature air conditioning, satellite TV, internet, a mini bar and a safe. Each of the bedrooms offers stunning views over the Adriatic Sea with its clear waters and dazzling beaches.
