Kimpton Schofield adds extended stay floor to Cleveland hotel

The eighth floor adds 7 new extended stay rooms.

CLEVELAND, OHIO – One of the major consumer travel trends of 2022 is extended stay travel. Making up for lost time in 2020 and 2021, business travel back in force, along with the ability for many folks to work remotely has driven the demand for extended or long-term stay options.

To accommodate this demand and trend, Kimpton Schofield has renovated the 8th floor to include 7 long-term stay suites. They were built to accommodate folks who plan to stay longer, in suites that are either one or two bedrooms, have full kitchens, a washer and dryer, one or two full bathrooms, walk-in showers, record players complete with a vinyl collection, complimentary Wi-Fi, bright airy spaces and right in the heart of Downtown Cleveland. Travelers will have the comforts of home and opportunity to utilize all the amenities that this boutique brand is known for, including personalized stays, unique experience in a pet-friendly environment.

“The Kimpton Schofield is always finding ways to offer something new, different and experiential, and we are excited to be one of the first in the greater Cleveland area to accommodate this need,” said Jordan Nye, General Manager of Kimpton Schofield. “We can accommodate an extended-stay traveler or someone who wants the flexibility of not signing a lease with the luxury and amenities of a hotel.”

Guests will have the enjoyment of being located in a hub of arts, restaurants, sports, nightlife, groceries and every other amenity the city has to offer. They can also enjoy the amenities of the Kimpton Schofield such as meeting space, an exercise facility and wine hour, to name a few.
