The hotel partners with salon stylist Angela Kalinowski, who’s worked with top stylists Warren Tricomi and Kim Vo. At her new home in Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, the salon experience will instill confidence and provide a day of beauty with a gorgeous custom look for guests and visitors to the hotel.
Le Salon at Sofitel’s relaxing indoor/outdoor environment is designed to be a refreshing respite, featuring planters with fresh lavender, reclaimed wood, and splashes of modern furniture and European/French statement pieces. The boutique salon is comprised of three chic stylist stations with floor to ceiling mirrors, a drying station, makeup application area, and a charming al fresco “bistro” style patio garden. The European vibe of Le Salon at Sofitel Los Angeles meshes well with the hotel’s contemporary French profile where the new space exudes a cozy, comfortable feel framed within high-end sophistication. Sofitel’s signature French-press coffee and tea, a variety of French cookies, rose and fruit infused water are complimentary for guests, while a salon spa menu is also available with delicious, healthy bites for purchase.
Kalinowski is known for creating a wide range of trendy looks from Boho chic to Hollywood glam. Her inspiration comes from her world travels and expert technique honed from more than a decade of salon work, red carpet events, editorial, and music videos. Her male and female clientele is high profile. Kalinowski has styled A-list actors/actresses, celebrities, artists, and business titans, as well as the top female UFC Octagon Girl. These include Rose McGowan, Katherine Heigl, Britney Spears, Gina Gershon, Eric Dane, Wolfgang Puck, Lauren Conrad, and the aforementioned Octagon Girl, Brittney Palmer. Kalinowski’s work has been featured on television and in fashion shows, such as CBS’s “The Doctors,” E! Network’s “Daily 10,” MTV’s “The Hills,” Germany’s “Next Top Model,” as well as for Versace, Ed Hardy, Louis Verdad, and William Rast, among others. Kalinowski will be joined by Stylist Gia Sinatra whose career started at the world renowned Paul Mitchell, The School. Her experience includes working with the top industry salon leaders and a wide range of television credits, such as “Chelsea Lately,” “Hell’s Kitchen” and on the VH1 network.
