Marco Polo Hotels appoints Dany Lutzel as General Manager.
HONG KONG – Marco Polo Hotels has announced the appointment of Mr. Dany Lutzel as General Manager of Niccolo Chongqing, the second Niccolo hotel of this luxury brand stable, following the Niccolo Chengdu success story. The hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017.
Prior to Niccolo, Dany was General Manager at Kempinski Chongqing, where he began as Resident Manager in 2014 and quickly moved up to the top role early last year. Previously, he was also General Manager of Radisson Blu, St. Gallen in Switzerland, a property where Dany spent over six years.
With experience in both Europe as well as China, Dany possesses the knowledge to drive revenues from both the domestic and international markets while maintaining a high service level consistent with Niccolo’s contemporary urban chic personality. His ability to effectively manage six food and beverage outlets, in addition to multiple events and wedding venues at his previous position will only enforce his expectancy for profitable business in all facets of the hotel.
