The winners were announced today during the ALIS conference at the JW Marriott and Microsoft Theater at L.A. LIVE. Nominees for the awards are evaluated based on outstanding business performance in various industry sectors.

The September 2017 opening of Moxy Times Square represented a disruptive shift in scale for New York City hotels. Lightstone, the developer, transformed a historic building into a dynamic, design-driven hotel with 612 bedrooms and over 22,000 square feet of food, beverage and event space.
To execute Lightstone's vision for Moxy, a large hotel that's not a homogenized experience, the developer enlisted a star team of collaborators: Yabu Pushelberg for interior design, TAO Group to cultivate the food and beverage program and Rockwell Group to design the restaurants and bars. Franchised by Marriott International and managed by Magna Hospitality, Moxy elevates the select service experience with cleverly designed bedrooms, a buzzing atmosphere, flexible co-working spaces, electrifying dining and drinking experiences and cultural programming.
Five dining destinations by TAO Group culminate in Magic Hour, NYC's largest indoor / outdoor all-season hotel rooftop bar and lounge. Additional venues include: Legasea, a seafood brasserie, Bar Moxy, the social heart of the hotel, The Pickup, a twist on the traditional grab-and-go and Egghead, an egg-centric all-day breakfast spot.
Given Moxy's location at 485 7th Avenue, the hotel serves as a unique social anchor for the neighborhood with property programming: nightly DJ sets, local artist collaborations and personalized pop-up shops. Moxy offers a 24-hour fitness center and complimentary, weekly fitness classes for guests and locals as part of its #SweatAtMoxy series.
