Newly relaunched Hotel Courcheneige welcomes guests for its first full ski season

In 2016, the hotel was refurbished to offer the ultimate boutique hotel experience; including newly-decorated boutique rooms, two brand-new restaurants and bars, an enlarged ski room directly on the piste, and an outdoor Jacuzzi.

Following the successful renovation and trial season of the iconic Courchevel hotel in December last year, Hotel Courcheneige has continued to build upon this solid base and now looks forward to welcoming guests and old friends alike for a new ski season this winter.

Located at the top of Courchevel 1850 on the main Bellecote piste, Hotel Courcheneige is the highest hotel in the resort. It has been the number one choice of skiers for over 40 years thanks to its family-friendly atmosphere, excellent value and ‘ski-in, ski-out’ facilities.

In 2016, the hotel was refurbished to offer the ultimate boutique hotel experience; including newly-decorated boutique rooms, two brand-new restaurants and bars, an enlarged ski room directly on the piste, and an outdoor Jacuzzi offering incredible views across the mountainous winter landscape. This year, Hotel Courcheneige is also partnering with Adventure Bar UK, who are heading over to France to operate a new apres-ski bar concept, Waikiki, on the hotels stunning one-acre al fresco terrace.

Hotel Courcheneige accommodates skiers of all abilities, with incomparable ‘ski-in, ski-out’ access. Teaming up with reputable local ski hire specialists, L’Atelier 1850, ski hire is available on site, so new skiers can fit their ski equipment at the hotel before gliding out directly onto the gentle Bellecote slope. For more seasoned skiers, the ‘ski-in, ski-out’ facilities provide immediate access to the slopes for skiers to make the most of fresh morning snow. The enlarged ski-room with access to the slopes also offers a convenient place to store, boots and skis overnight.

The hotel has been redesigned with everyone in mind, still offering the same combination of rooms and suites for two, three, four or five people, catering for families of all sizes. Each of the 86 rooms, suites and bathrooms have been redecorated in a new boutique style design with lots of timber, woven fabrics and alpine colours – all designed to guarantee maximum relaxation and comfort after a long day on the slopes!

With apres ski playing an integral part in the finest skiing getaways, Hotel Courcheneige also has it covered thanks to the expansion of their one-acre al fresco terrace! Hotel guests and skiers alike can also stop off for a drink at the new apres-ski bar, Waikiki, or grab a bite to eat the terrace restaurant for traditional Savoyard specialities or international cuisine. It’s the perfect place to sit in the sunshine, whilst enjoying a quick slice of pizza at ‘La Pizzeria’, or savouring a full lunch on one of the best located and grandest terraces in Courchevel 1850.

For decades, Courchevel has been the go-to destination for skiers across Europe and beyond, with its 4 village resorts, reliable snow conditions, as well as access to 600 kilometers of pistes and over 170 lifts in the ‘Trois Vallees’ ski area; and with its ideal location on the edge of the busy, scenic Bellecote slope, the Hotel Courcheneige’s renovation has produced an all-encompassing skiing haven, perfect for the whole family and friends.
