Newport Beach Hotel & Suites

The refresh is just one part of the comprehensive, multi-phase renovation.

NEWPORT COUNTY, R.I. – Newport Beach Hotel & Suites, located directly across from Easton’s Beach on the Newport/Middletown line, has begun a significant guest room refresh project on the historic property on its campus. The considerable makeover, which will include a reimaged interior design replete with new bathrooms, furnishings, carpet and wall coverings, will mark Phase One of a comprehensive multi-phase vision set to position Newport Beach Hotel & Suites as the premier choice for travelers seeking a sophisticated stay that balances modern demands and historic New England seaside charm.

The hotel, managed by the Procaccianti Companies’ hospitality management affiliate, TPG Hotels & Resorts, and is part of the Intera Collection which is TPG’s upscale boutique, independent hotel management platform. The reimagined refurbishment is spearheaded by ABI Interior Design, headquartered in Warwick, Rhode Island. Guests can expect a harmonious blend of refined furnishings, plush bedding, well-appointed amenities, and local art, setting the tone of an inviting beachside retreat. Families with young travelers can look forward to booking from select rooms outfitted with playful bunk beds. At the same time, every guest will appreciate the design scheme’s sophisticated coastal ambiance, meticulous attention to detail, and unparalleled hospitality.

Built in 1940, the historic gambrel-style landmark building includes 45 guest rooms, all anchored by breathtaking water views from every angle. Property amenities include a dining space serving continental breakfast for guests, free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, a hot tub, a rooftop deck with a hot tub, an event and meeting space, a fitness center, and a day spa.

Phase One of the enhancement project is expected to be completed by the end of March. Newport Beach Hotel & Suites will remain operational during this period with minimal disruptions to guests located in the hotel’s all-suites property.
