Summer in Florence: Tower Bar and Hotel Brunelleschi’s ideas inside the historical and suggestive Torre della Pagliazza

Just the perfect place where to eat a quick appetizer for lunch, to sip a cocktail or a glass of champagne during your happy hours, as well as a perfect occasion for ice cream lovers: a special tasting moment of artisanal creations signed by our chef and its staff.

FLORENCE – Hotel Brunelleschi, an historical building in the heart of Florence, wants to make Tuscan summer even more special and exclusive for every visitor, thanks to the events held in its Tower Bar, placed at the ground floor of the ancient Torre della Pagliazza. An evocative location where history and art meet and blend in harmony with fun and conviviality, in the hidden square of Piazza Santa Elisabetta, right at the back of the gorgeous Cathedral and a few steps away from Palazzo della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery.

Tower bar is the refined and elegant location where you will be able to enjoy a quick meal at lunch or sip at happy hours time some delicious cocktails, composed in a blend of tradition and modernity. For those who love champagne and Belle-Epoque ambience, guests will be able to ask for a taste of Perrier-Jouet – composed by a blend based on the structure and intensity of black Pinot and the fruity and round taste of Meunier – everything served with our chef’s fingerfood.

Moreover, in order to face this summer’s heat you will be able to delight your mouth with an ice-cream tasting, available everyday thanks to its chef Giuseppe Buonadonna, with flavours composed with seasonal products, just as Piedmont’s hazelnuts. To every different flavour, a gastronomy delight or a spirit chosen by its maitre Alessandro Recupero will be paired.

Besides tower Bar, Hotel Brunelleschi owns a gourmet restaurant, named Santa Elisabetta, as well as Osteria della Pagliazza, an exclusive tavern who proposes more traditional dishes with open air tables.  In addition to this, guests are given the opportunity to overnight inside this ancient Tower’s walls: its medieval structure hosts a wonderful and elegant duplex suite, as well as an Archeological Museum telling the story of the building, full of magic and suggestions.

Photographic documents, Roman and Medieval remains and Renaissance pieces: all of this makes of Hotel Brunelleschi a different reference point for your holidays, allowing you to spend unforgettable moments and offering a truly full experience to its guests, among art, fun and comfort.
