Hilton<.> Hhonors, one of the world`s leading guest reward programs, is expanding its international presence to a new part of the globe. The program has added Scandic<.> Hotels, the top hotel brand in Scandinavia and the Nordic region, to its growing family of hotels. HHonors members can now earn Hilton HHonors points for qualifying stays at Scandic Hotels and redeem those points for rewards in locations all over the world.

Scandic Hotels joins Hilton, Conrad, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton as participating HHonors hotels, bringing the total number of HHonors hotels worldwide to more than 2,300. With 140 hotels in nine countries including Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, Scandic is Scandinavia`s leading hotel chain. The company was acquired by Hilton International in June 2001.

HHonors is the only major guest reward program that allows its members to Double Dip, earning hotel points and airline miles for the same stay at most every rate. It also is the only program that offers travelers a two-way exchange between hotel points and airline miles with participating airlines through the unique HHonors Reward Exchange.

We`re thrilled to offer our members the opportunity to earn points and miles at such an excellent network of hotels with unparalleled coverage of Scandinavia, said Jeffrey Diskin, president and chief operating officer of Hilton HHonors Worldwide. The addition of Scandic Hotels continues the global expansion of HHonors and ensures that, more than ever, HHonors is available to our members nearly any place they travel or nearly any place their travels take them.
