The hotel group is currently planning nearly 7,000 rooms and around 37 niu project developments for the millennial brand niu – 5 hotels and more than 1,300 rooms are being built in Berlin alone. NOVUM Hospitality is exploiting the hotel industry hype surrounding the capital and is planning to enter the market with the new millennial brand, niu. NOVUM Hospitality is working in partnership with Ed. Zublin AG in drawing up the detailed plans for the Werdauer Weg 3 project in Schoneberg – all according to plans by the renowned Swiss architect Max Dudler. Opening is planned for early 2020. Advisor in the transaction was Colliers International Hotel GmbH.

“We see great potential in Berlin for our brand, niu. The number of overnight stays is increasing year on year, the city is very progressive and is particularly popular with young tourists. We are all the more pleased to welcome the renowned Ed. Zublin AG with their local know-how as competent construction experts on our side and in partnership to drive the project from the very beginning,” explains David Etmenan, Chief Executive Officer & Owner of NOVUM Hospitality.

The property is operated by NOVUM Hospitality with almost 300 rooms as a niu hotel. In typical niu style, NOVUM Hospitality implements unique storytelling befitting to the location of the hotel.
