MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA – The Board of Directors of the world-renowned Jamaican resort, Half Moon, has announced that the property is set to undergo an extensive 18-month renovation, beginning in May 2017.
Scheduled for completion in October 2018, the second phase of the US$75 million Half Moon Master Plan will see the introduction of new guest facilities and restaurants, expanded beach areas and accommodation, including the replacement of 44 existing offerings with the introduction of 57 new rooms and suites.
This phase follows the 2015 refurbishment of the award-winning Sugar Mill Restaurant, resort lobby, Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed golf course and the introduction of the popular Lester’s Cafe. Also near completion is the centralised Back of House complex, which will open in June 2017 and provide first-rate resources, and modern facilities for Half Moon team members.
