The hotel is constructed of local stone. This gives the Resort a warm yet discreet atmosphere: the black lavic stone combines with the Sicilian terracotta glazed in various colours or contrasts with the light coloured Modica marble.
The resort is made up of 97 guest rooms with balcony or terrace. One of the finest room is the Suite Jacuzzi: the Jacuzzi is situated on the terrace which enjoys the breathtaking views of the Faraglioni.

Activities
Vulcano is the southern Island of the Aeolian islands. Sulfurous and vibrant, scratched by the wind and softened by the sea, the Vulcano isle shows its beauty in its most intimate places and corners. The naturalistic paths wind among the volcano slopes, brooms and igneous stone. For trekking lovers, the most fascinating excursion is the climb up to the Gran Cratere (great crater). You can walk around the volcano edge and, if accompanied by local guides, you can also cross the Piano delle Fumarole (fumaroles plain), reaching the highest part of the crater among spectacular alum encrustations, sulphur and molten metal, which in some cases reaches 400 °C. The view from here is incomparable: the whole archipelago close at hand, with the farthest islands that seem floating above the sea.
