TRX Suspension Training Equipment now available at Westin Hotels & Resorts around the world.

Renowned Hospitality Brand Lengthens its Lead in Well-being with 250 Run Concierges Worldwide, Now Enhancing Group Runs with Custom TRX Pre-Run Workout.

BETHESDA, MD. – Westin Hotels & Resorts together with TRX announce a global partnership, bringing the global leaders in functional training and fitness equipment to more than 200 WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studios around the globe. In addition to putting fitness at guests' fingertips with curated content in the new TRX App, both brands have created a custom pre-run workout, allowing Westin Run Concierges to enhance group runs and leverage TRX equipment – including TRX Suspension Trainers and Functional Training Tools – available in the hotels.

"Westin recently brought together our passionate network of Run Concierges at the brand's annual Run Concierge Summit to challenge the status quo in wellness offerings and continue to drive our dedication to be better partners in our guests' well-being before, during and after their stay," said Brian Povinelli, SVP and Global Brand Leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts. "While we consistently find that travelers struggle to maintain their wellness routine while on the road, we also know that functional fitness is a trend on the rise. We are delighted to partner with TRX and believe that making their simple, yet versatile equipment available for our guests and offering effective workouts designed specifically for travelers is a powerful proposition."

Starting next month, WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studios will feature a selection of new strength, cardio, stretching and core equipment, including foam rollers, strength bands, medicine balls, premium yoga mats, stability balls, jump ropes, kettlebells, and the signature TRX Suspension Trainer. Leveraging a philosophy based around standards of movements – push, pull, plank, rotate, hinge, lunge and squat – every TRX movement helps to build total-body strength, which boosts endurance and speed.

With custom workouts created specifically for travelers targeting such issues as jetlag, stress, and sitting for extended periods on an airplane or in the office, Westin and TRX enable guests to regain control of their wellness routines and be their best while on the road.

"TRX provides world-class training and fitness equipment for everyone," said TRX CEO & Founder Randy Hetrick. "Our loyal community of followers voiced their desire to train all the time – even when their daily routine is influx. Our partnership with the Westin brand makes that dream a reality, allowing guests to get the workout they love while traveling."

Whether training for a marathon or simply maintaining their routine while traveling, guests can use TRX to perform hundreds of functional exercises that can be customized into workouts. Westin and TRX are making it easier than ever for guests to use TRX equipment by introducing fresh, curated content by way of the new dynamic TRX App. Complete with in-ear audio coaching that reacts in real-time with training tips based on the users biometric data, the TRX App now features a selection of free instructional videos led by TRX Master Instructors designed to make it easy for travelers to keep up with their fitness routines while traveling.

Boasting Let's Rise as the brand's new mantra, Westin is committed to empowering its guests and delivering thoughtful wellness experiences that often reflect their at-home active lifestyle. With this new partnership, plus the brand's ongoing Gear Lending program, which allows guests to pack light and stay fit with New Balance shoes and clothing available to use during their stay, Westin continues to lengthen its lead as hospitality's well-being power player.

The global partnership with TRX is the latest addition to the brand's robust portfolio of wellness offerings. From bringing the new Peloton commercial-grade bike in select guest rooms and WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studios, to providing carefully curated and energizing SuperFoodsRx dining menus, these initiatives are all designed to embody the brand's Six Pillars of Well-Being: Sleep Well, Eat Well, Move Well, Feel Well, Work Well, and Play Well.
